Abrasion Resistant Coatings
- Description
Description
To extend the life of idler rolls and frames in abrasive or corrosive environments, Rite Idler offers a selection of heavy-duty abrasion-resistant coatings. These options are designed to reduce wear, protect against harsh elements, and improve overall system longevity.
Rolls can be lagged with high-performance rubber compounds or coated with a ceramic-impregnated epoxy layer to resist impact and surface degradation. For severe-duty applications, urethane sleeving provides additional toughness and resilience. Frames can be hot-dip galvanized to protect against corrosion from moisture, chemicals, or salt exposure.
Available Options:
-
Rubber Lagging: Enhances grip and absorbs impact
-
Ceramic-Impregnated Epoxy: Provides a hard, abrasion-resistant surface
-
Urethane Sleeves: Offers added durability for high-wear conditions
-
Galvanized Frames: Protects against rust and corrosion in outdoor or corrosive environments
- Options for other frame coatings available
Whether facing dust, slurry, or corrosive materials, Rite Idler’s abrasion-resistant coating options help ensure your conveyor components last longer, perform consistently, and require less maintenance in demanding conditions.
